Farmer CanePro has been completely rewritten to take advantage of the Microsoft SQL Server Database Engine. Consequently many of the features and layout will have changed, but we have tried to keep the new version as similar to the old paradox versions as possible.

The following are functions of Farmer CanePro: 

• Farmer CanePro has been designed for the smaller commercial farmer managing a single enterprise.
• The enterprise can have more than one farm, with any number of field records and a number of grower codes.
• The field records are not restricted to cane – data from other crops can be recorded in these records.  However, the functionality and variable names are cane-specific.
• Farmer CanePro combines an easy to use Windows application with the power of Microsoft’s SQL Server Express database.
• Farmer CanePro consists of a number of integrated modules packaged together.
• Farmer CanePro has a simple calendar interface which allows the user to capture field, employee, vehicle, material and rainfall/irrigation activities. 
• Activities for employees and vehicles are standardized to allow for activity costing per field, farm or grower code.
