Estate Canepro

Stores & Materials

All materials, materials Stores and material transactions are managed in this module. These materials and materials transactions are also used as input or output into/from some of CanePro’s other modules such as CanePro’s operational planners.

The Materials & Stores module provides the following:-

It is a warehouse for all the different materials, material groups and material stores. Materials are grouped together into different material groups and a picture of the different materials which exist in the different stores is provided. The different compositions of materials can be stored in CanePro.  CanePro can then select materials matching the criteria of a certain composition in functionality such as the fertilizer planner.

Daily capture of the different material transactions. Outputs from resource planning can affect which material transactions needed to take place and the amount of units which need to be applied.

Provides functionality which shows the stock levels of the different material items in the different stores, thus provides a useful tool in deciding when to re-order or provides useful information in showing material utilization.

Provides a useful tool in that the material stock costs are monitored as well. Useful information can be extracted when comparing the Budgeted versus Actuals. Transactions can be compared from season to season and period to period.

Different store periods can be defined for the different stores. These are periods for which a store is active in. This reduces the possibility that fraudulent transactions can be captured. An audit trail exists so that all transactions can be properly monitored.
